Kombucha: Which one and Why Bother?

Kombucha is a tangy, slightly fizzy beverage made from brewed tea that has undergone fermentation with the help of a symbiotic culture of bacteria and yeast (SCOBY). This living culture transforms the tea into a probiotic-rich drink with a distinctive flavor profile that can range from sweet and fruity to tart and tangy.
Kombucha has many benefits, whether it be reducing bloating, boosting immunity or even boosting mental health. I've been loyal to the brand Synergy, as I've found their drinks have the least amount of added sugars. Here are my top three favorite flavors:
1. Gingerade
This one can be hit or miss, but it's been my go-to for the past month. I love ginger drinks, especially this one because the ginger isn't overpowering.
2. Watermelon
This one literally tastes like a watermelon Sour Patch. If you're trying Kombucha for your first time I would definitely start with this flavor!
3. Pineapple
If you like pineapple juice this one is definitely for you! This one hits the spot when it's fresh out of the cold fridge.
